A kit from World War 2 that is more rare is the chalice kit. It has “wings” that open up. Here it is opened up and covered with a red
velvet "vesperal cloth" that covers the altar mensa and linens when not in use.

This is the portable altar of Saint Miguel Pro, a Jesuit priest that was martyred in Mexico in 1927.
It allowed him to celebrate Mass in hiding during the Cristero War. The size of this altar enabled it to
be moved readily for Mass in different locations. Viva Cristo Rey! Long live Christ the King!
